Feel the Power - Again (Black Enterprise Magazine)

Black Enterprise honored CFAW’s President Faye Wattleton during its 2nd annual “Women of Power Summit” this past month. She was recognized for her notorious trajectory in women’s rights.  Also honored were Suzanne de Pass, chairman and CEO of dePasse Entertainment; Judith Jamison, artistic director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre; Ruth Simmons, president of Brown University.

At the Summit, hundreds of women gathered to discuss professional aspirations and how to make them a reality. In the April issue of Black Enterprise, Sonia Alleyne reports about the inspirational and poignant moments that resonated with the attendees who occupied the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. Over 50 moderators and panelists offered the women “professional, strategic advice for advancing their careers.”
