While the movements of the 60s and 70s generated major victories for women, a lot remains to be done to ensure full equality and trusted citizenship for every woman.
Did you know that:
- About 3 million women are physically abused by their husband/boyfriend each year.
- 36% of polled women say that they often experience discrimination getting promotions to supervisory positions
- In 2005, women were paid 77 cents for every dollar men received.
Women have experienced many individual successes, but change for all women won’t happen unless we continue to insist on it. Don’t let complacency hamper our daughters and granddaughters’ future.

A national advocacy campaign to counter the claims made by the right wing’s most visible spokesperson. “Ann Coulter Does Not Speak for Me” gives you the facts to speak out and the tools to educate others about how to counter Ann Coulter’s degrading rhetoric.
After a few spins, take action by signing the “Ann Coulter Does Not Speak for Me”petition.
Post a “sticker” on your blog or Web page.
Send friends an e-card or a message drawing their attention to the campaign.
If we don’t counter Ann Coulter’s unchecked messages they will become acceptable group think.
By taking action, you help increase awareness about the need for women’s equality and change the dialogue of our country.
